Acetone is an excellent primer just before doing a repair or bonding to old fibreglass. The Acetone should always be pure acetone and it will evaporate without the need to remove it. can be used when roofing for bonding and removing contaminates, the acetone will soften the resin and help to bond. Acetone is a very good degreaser.
