Our RTV silicone molding rubber produces the highest quality rubber moulds with extremely fine detail and minimal shrinkage. They will produce a huge amount of replica pieces, extremely easy to use. This self releasing liquid rubber is activated by the addition of a catalyst, kit includes rubber and activator.
Easy to use RTV silicone rubber have excellent release properties, which makes production casting of resins (polyurethane, polyester, and epoxy) quick and easy. No release agent is required for nearly all surfaces (although silicone will bond to itself) and for all resins poured into it. These silicones also exhibit good chemical resistance and high temperature resistance (over 200 °C). For this reason silicone molds are suitable for casting low melting point metals and alloys
